A few 'offline' ideas:

  • Dance - there's nothing better than putting on any piece of music that you can all dance to - great for general exercise and lifting the spirits
  • Exercise in the garden - trampolining, skipping, hop/skip/jump, 'time trials' (e.g. how many ... can you do in 30 seconds)
  • Practise basic throw and catch skills - all you need is a ball (make it easier by using larger or softer types of ball). Turn it into a game by making it harder to catch the ball each time it is dropped e.g. only one hand, on one knee, on two knees etc.
  • Play good old fashioned active party games like musical chairs, musical statues etc
