On Thursday, Mrs Fuller took 5 of our Coventry Young Ambassadors to London to participate in the unveiling of a new train for Coventry. Throughout the day, they were impeccably behaved and represented their school and city with great pride and maturity. On the journey down, we travelled in the first-class carriages with the Lord Mayor. In London, they mingled with passengers in the Virgin first-class lounge and talked about their city in an engaging and informative way. We then attended the unveiling ceremony with representatives from BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, BBC Midlands Today and guest of honour, Pete Waterman! Following the ceremony, the ambassadors officially welcomed passengers aboard the 'Lady Godiva' and then boarded the train for its inaugural journey to Coventry. We received compliments throughout the day about the children's attitude and behaviour and they deserve to feel very proud of themselves.
