Representatives from our Year 4 met the Prime Minister on their LOtC trip
A group of children selected from Year 4 represented Stivichall today, Friday 7th May 2021, on a Learning Outside the Classroom visit to the Education buses at the Severn Trent Water Treatment Works in Coventry. They were surprised to meet the Prime Minister of the UK, Mr Boris Johnson, at the centre! He asked them questions about which school they went to and about what they were learning at the moment. The children were fantastic ambassadors for the school and full of smiles - there is a chance that the video clip filmed will be on national news today.
We are hoping that we can organise for the Severn Trent digi-bus and education leaders to visit the school soon to share the learning with the wider Year 4 group. We would like to say a big thank you to Phill and Dave and all of the staff from Severn Trent for inviting us today and for working with us in the future.
