Stivichall's year-round commitment to mental health and wellbeing.
This Children’s Mental Health Week, we are continuing to support the wellbeing of our children and their families by engaging with activities and resources promoted by Place2Be. A range of activities focusing on this year’s theme of Express Yourself are being shared via the school announcements on Seesaw and via Twitter. Over the week, there should be plenty of opportunities for us all to explore different ways to express ourselves and the happiness that can be created by indulging our creative sides.
At Stivichall, we have a year-round focus on children’s mental health, supported by children engaging in activities such as mindfulness, through our Jigsaw provision, assemblies that focus on a range of health and wellbeing matters and the wider school environment such as our Peace Garden, Dell and Rainbow Room.
Resources and information to support mental health and wellbeing are available on the Mental Health and Wellbeing page of the school website (link here), with new links and resources added as they are found.
Place2Be have also created a section on their website with a wide range of advice, ideas and links to help you support the wellbeing of your family at home.
