On Friday, Year 6 were incredibly honoured to be invited to a video conference with a Japanese atomic bomb survivor. This was another stage in the children's peace and reconciliation project which they worked on throughout Year 5 and is linked the children's theme work this autumn term in Year 6. The children had been exploring these events in their RE lessons and generating questions to ask. This was a powerful event where the children gained an invaluable insight into an extremely crucial world event. The children were extremely respectful and well behaved.
