Sixteen children from various classes across Years 5 and 6 were selected to represent the school at a rugby event at King Henry VIII school on Friday 18th January 2019. Despite the frosty white ground at the start of the morning and the chilly breeze, the children focused well during skills building sessions and showed great spirit in trying their very best. Players from the Wasps team were there too helping the children in practices - even playing in some of our warm up games. Stivichall played extremely well as two separate teams in a mini-tournament against a variety of other school teams. At the end of the morning, the children were treated to a hut lunch in the school canteen and were presented with certificates for their efforts. Well done to all for your teamwork and sportsmanship and thank you to King Henry VIII School for hosting a very successful event.
