The explorer Mark Wood popped into school this week to provide an inspirational talk to our Year 6 pupils, linked to their current polar theme. He showed the children videos and told them all about his adventures at both poles and on Mount Everest. They got to look at all of his cool equipment and even held a polar bear tooth! It was very motivating for the pupils to see just how far a former Stivichall pupil has gone, reinforcing what our teachers always tell Year 6 children: work hard and you can achieve your dreams!
