Our commitment to all children at Stivichall enjoying a series of Forest Schools lessons over the course of each academic year continues. We value highly the personal, social and environmental learning that Forest Schools offers - it is an important part of our Learning Outside the Classroom offer.

Recently, class 2P have been working together in small teams to up-cycle wooden pallets to make bug hotels. They have needed to practise the learning behaviours of 'collaboration' and 'resourcefulness' in planning what they wanted to create, collecting natural materials and furnishing their part of the bug hotel. This has offered an opportunity to learn about nature, habitats and the environment as well as some exciting moments of finding bugs ourselves!
